3 things that earns us the Nur (light).

1) Frequently having or being in the state of ablution (wudhu)
2) Frequently reading the Quran.
3) Offering many voluntary prayers and likes being in the sujud position to Allah swt (facing qibla)

Rasulullah SAW said before that on the day of judgement, he will only give syafaat (help with Allah's permission) to his ummah. His ummah will be all shining with the Nur. Those not shining, will not be claimed as his ummah.
